June 17th

Here we are then at another week, now what to talk about? We had the Paul Brown and Patrick van de Ven workshops this week that both seemed to go down well with everyone. We were meant to be having Christopher Lyle over from the USA but he pulled out after being booked for about 4 months. I have started to add the pictures from the days but as usual it will take a few weeks to post them all up over on Balloon Chat. Pictures.

It’s the London Balloon jam next week, not sure if I can make it at the moment. It will be a last minute decision but they are generally fun to attend and a few meet up before for lunch at Pizza Express. The details are on the Facebook page. London Jam.

My newsletter list has gone from over 5000 down to around 300 since the new GDPR thingy has come in. It seems if you asked three people for advise you got five different answers as no one seemed to sure what it was all about. So moving on I will still try to send out a newsletter from July with all the latest info and dates booked etc.

Had a party in Blackheath yesterday, the show went very well and then it was balloons outside, it was a little windy and cold, so much I had to put a coat on and they had two large sand pits so yes you are correct every balloon lasted about 30 seconds, I was smiling away but not ideal place to be twisting balloons.

The next balloon day we have is next Monday 25th June in Warrington near Manchester. It had been a bit of a struggle to get some booking for the day but we have about 10 coming at the moment so it will go ahead and hopefully we get a little flurry of a few others booking last minute. If you would like to book on then be quick as at the moment we still have two spaces left on the early bird. Balloon Day.

That’s it for the moment then, off to find the random balloon
picture of the week to post. I went with Betty Boop that I posted
onto Facebook last night with a link to a thread on designs being
made from Geo Blossom balloons. There are nine pages to view
over on Balloon Chat with all the models having a geo within
the design. Geo Blossom Designs.
