I keep forgetting to update the blog every week, note so self…………must try harder.
The two day balloon event in Sutton went very well with the macaroni girls coming over from Holland to do a lecture/workshop. It is always difficult to get the numbers through the door but we had a reasonable turn out with 22 attending on the Tuesday and 18 on the Wed. As the day was filmed on the Wed some club members could only attend one day due to work commitments so was better to miss the Wed and see it later on the DVD. We held two competitions, one each day with nearly everyone joining in, even I had an entry for the Tuesday.

Off to Essex this Wed for a face painting balloon jam, I will be running a two hour basic balloon modelling workshop if anyone would like to attend. More details can be found here, http://balloonchat.co.uk/post69368.html#p69368

Then we have another two day event in Birmingham on Tuesday 25th Nov with Twistina running the balloon workshop and on Wed 26th Nov we have club member Dan Catt running the day. There will also be a couple of fun competitions to enter along the way as well with a prize or two to win. If you book for both days then you will receive a £20 voucher to spend on balloon products at the day, the price also includes a buffet lunch.
