26th January

oops, just realised I did not blog last week. Oh well moving on.

Had a good Care & Share day in Sutton this week with 27 people booked in and 26 turning up. It was a little cosy as I could only get the smaller room but we just about managed all right. I was trying to make a full size man at the day but what with making sure everything else was going OK and chatting to people etc it was a little on the slow side for me making it. I have finished him though at home on the Thursday and Friday and will post him onto the thread with all the other pictures over the coming days. Sutton Balloon Day.

I do have a ticket for the Blackpool Balloon Bash to give away to a worthy cause, so if you know anyone this might help then please get in touch as we don’t want it going to waste………..thanks.

The next Star lecture days are all booked in and confirmed with Rob Driscoll doing a twisting day on the 1st April and Tope Abulude with a deco twisting day on the 2nd April. Both days are in Halesowen, Birmingham. To book or for more info, Star Lecture Days.

I have been adding to my portfolio pages slowly over the past month or so, I’m up to April 2019 so still way behind but slowly getting there. There are over 40 pages to vie and over 1000 pictures to view. Graham Lee Portfolio.

The Balloon Chat forum crashed twice this week, once as we had ran out of space, we did have 20GB of memory and 100 GB of storage. So had to increase the storage by another 20GB. It then went down again possibly due to a slow back up procedure, I’m always a little lost on the technical side as I have no clue but Anja who looks after the forum for me was a great help and solved the problem. Fingers crossed all is now OK.

That’s me for this week, hopefully I will remember to post a blog next week.
Off to find the random balloon picture of the week.
I went with the triceratops which is my variation from an idea
by David Crofts. More Dinosaur pictures can be found here, Dino.
