24th February

Did you notice that last week there was no blog?
I was away working at the Blackpool Magic Convention where it’s said there were 4.200 people attending. So definitely the biggest magic convention in the world. Sales are never that great as many attending are close up performers and the balloons are more for the family, children’s entertainer. You have to be there to be seen and this year we had Rob Driscoll working on the stand and made the Drum Kit. It seemed to go down very well and Rob loved hearing all weekend about the Motor Bike we built last year, some even got pictures out to show Rob, I was laughing away……………….not so much Rob though, he he.
The pictures from the event are going onto Balloon Chat, I think we are about half way through posting them so they should all be online by the end of next week. Blackpool Pictures.

We are off on the 9th April to the Kent Face painting jam. I’m unable to put the link up as its not working for me but Clare Jeffery is organising it so if you message her via her facebook page I’m sure she will pass on all the details, Kent Face Paint Jam.

Next up we have Tobi Twist from Germany coming over to run a two day event for us in Birmingham, we still have a couple of spaces available if you would like to attend.
Both days will be different and are on the 4/5th March, booking details, Tobi Twist.

The dates for The Kidology, Children’s Magic convention have been announced for
24/25th Sept. Kidology Details,

Its funny how sometimes things annoy you and other times you let it sail by,

Saying that then for many a year now I have kept mum about a few things in the balloon world. There comes a time when you get fed up of hearing what people are saying as some might think its true due to me being quiet. This is 100% away from the truth and I have decided that if you ask me, I will now say. Where as before I always moved on to another subject and kept positive.
So if anyone would like to know the truth about these rumours, please ask away.
I’m pretty sure there is nothing in the balloon world that I’m embarrassed about and I have always tried to have morals and ethics with whatever I have done.
Got a little deep there, he he.

Still posting pictures from the Florida Superjam, Florida Pictures.

And if anyone wants to see what I’ve been getting up to balloon wise I always post my whole balloon life on balloon chat. Balloon Chat Forum.

That’s me for this week, the random picture is not so random this week as decided it’s
going to be the drum kit we built with Rob Driscoll at the Magic convention last week.
