I was working at a small music festival yesterday and had a fab time, I hope the audiences did as well. I was contracted to do three 30 min shows, so the plan was for two balloon type game shows and one magic show. As the event started at 12 noon and my first show was 12.15 I was expecting a small attendance and we ended up with about 12 people so that got me into the swing of things. I had 90 minutes between shows so did some twisting for 30 mins between shows as a little extra to help out, other wise I’d get bored sitting about for so long. We had possibly 100 attending this show and it was great to see everyone laughing away and enjoying themselves. So another 30 mins of twisting before my last show of the day. I decided to split this up with a little magic and the balloon game show, it seemed to go down OK and we had at a guess about 75 watching. It’s been so long since we have done a show that I did lose my voice a little after the event but thoroughly enjoyed the day as its been a while since we have been out entertaining. The organisers also sorted out free refreshments throughout the day as well so that was a bonus and at the end came up and thanked me, that was rather nice.
Today I have filmed a little something for Balloon Task master, just tongue in cheek as all my little efforts for this are, they make me smile but not sure about others, he he.
I have booked a Mario workshop for 21st Sept at 7.30 pm UK Time, we have just 5 spaces left
as its a maximum of 10 people to keep it manageable for myself. Mario Workshop.
Don’t forget we have our first live get together in over 20 months planned for 12th October in Halesowen, near Birmingham. It’s just £15 to attend and four members of the Balloon Artistes guild will be running the workshops, any questions then please ask or to book,
Balloon Workshop Day.
