Balloon Artistes/entertainers?

Then these days are for you.

The idea of the day is for everyone to share their experiences, talent and balloon knowledge with each other. Hence the title “CARE & SHARE”, or if you prefer just join in with the two lecture/workshops.
You will be amazed at what is shared and everyone is guaranteed to learn something.
So why not take the plunge and join us on these truly great and exciting days to expand your knowledge of our great “BALLOON ART”.
The days get more like a social get-together, so much that after the day, why not join us for a meal, everyone is welcome.
Weather you’re a beginner, advanced twister or even a decorator, these days are for you.

Graham organised and started to run the days in April 2005,
& so far has run 20 successful days.
With between 22/55 people attending every event.

Beginners Workshop
This year there will be an hour from 11.oo till mid-day for those
That have never twisted before or need a little confidence boosting
With a basic beginners class.

Advanced Workshop
This will run from 2.oo till 3.oo P.M. and will be slightly
More advanced than the beginner’s class.

PLEASE NOTE
Both lecture/workshops are not compulsory, you’re more than welcome to carry on twisting at the other end of the hall, if you wish.

The Sempertex Balloon Modelling Range.
Kindly supplied FREE on the day for you to try, with
so many new & fantastic colours.
The Sempertex 160/260 balloons are between 4/6 inches, 100/150mm longer than other brands. The 360 is 10 inches/250mm longer.
They are also a much thicker balloon, so letting you be much more aggressive with the balloon if you so wish, go on give it some stick!
It’s a Sempertex balloon.

There will be a £10 charge for the day if pre booked or £15 on the day. Everyone attending the day will get to take home with them 3 bags of either the 160/260 mixed bags, your choice.
Light refreshments will also be available, but please remember to bring the cream cakes with you?
The maximum number at all days will be 40.

Thanks for such a great day. I am not sure what I was expecting
But I was certainly delighted and impressed with what I experienced. I learned some new designs and some amendments to ones I already use which will make them easier, quicker or more pleasing ( or any combination of the three ). I also learnt what I was doing wrong when I tried to snap balloons off – I couldn’t do it at all but now I can with ease and I shall be reminded of the day every time I do this from now on, Richard.

To anyone that has seen Graham Lee listings of The Balloon Jam/Workshop days and thought that as a decorator they would either not benefit from attending or would not be welcomed, think again.
We attended the day yesterday and had one of the best days we have ever had from the moment we arrived at 10.oo until we were finally evicted at 6.oo
We just kept learning new tricks the professional twisters were so keen to show off there work and then happy to teach us how to do it. If you see Graham advertising one of these days and you can get to it, then do. You will be welcomed and you will learn things that you can use in the future. David & Karen Cartwright
